You're My People | Supan Family 2020

It wasn’t that far into my photog career that I was introduced to an insane girl tribe. A small group of mommas invited Philter in as their family photographer and not a day goes by that I am not grateful for having these women in my life. I am constantly in awe of their instinctual motherhood skills, their never ending kindness and their continuous positive outlook on life. When they hug you, the mean it with all their hearts. They’ll bake you cookies, ask everything about your own kids and sometimes they even cry when you show them the back of your camera during sessions. They love love and I love them dearly.

With that said, meet Kelly and Roman. They met in college and several degrees later they built their dream home and brought three beautiful boys into their lives. I met them when their middle child was first born and it’s now our yearly tradition to hunker down, shoot for hours and catch up like old friends. To give you a glimpse into my “love letter” to the Supan’s, here is their most recent maternity and lifestyle newborn sessions.

PS, despite what it looks like, no child was harmed in the making of any of these photos :P
